Soul Calibur 1 Weapon Guide

There were only three weapons in Soul Calibur 1 - the 1P and 2P versions of the standard weapon, plus the Edgemaster version of the weapon. It didn't really matter which one you used, because there were no added effects. Which one you used was purely an asthetic choice!

Maxi's standard weapon was Fatibal. The in-game description was as follows:
Fatibal is the name of Maxi's wooden nunchaku, It was made by one of his crewmen, Yagazzi. Yagazzi was forced to make many nunchaku, as Maxi kept breaking them.

Through trial and error, Yagazzi learned that he could use Balisanda wood to make a nunchaku that was strong and durable. The result - Fatibal. Fatibal was perfect for Maxi, as it could handle Maxi's extraordinary fighting strength and unique style of fighting. One handle was named Kochi (East Wind), and one was named Hae (South Wind).

The only different between the 1P and 2P versions was the colour - 2P Fatibal was black. Edgemaster's nunchaku had no name (which fitted in with Edgemaster's view of weaponry) and was coloured blue. It was actually rather pretty.
