Maxi and Setsuka

I felt the need to give this pairing its own page, purely for me to just to tell you how much I love it! Storyline wise, there isn't yet any suggestion that it could happen, but there are similarities between the two that could suggest a future relationship.


  • Both have major vengeance issues and have allowed those vengeful feelings to take over their life!
  • Both have suffered major loss, and neither is very effective at dealing with the hurt that comes from loss.
  • This is an interesting one - both go from black to blonde in their 2P outfits! XD


    More than anything, though, I feel that these would simply gel well together. Setsuka craves love and attention (as evident in her relationship with her now deceased master) and I think Maxi had the capacity to do that for a woman he truly cares for. He is a gentleman and I fully believe he knows what chivalry means. At the same time, he can respect a woman who truly knows how to look after herself. If anybody can get under Setsuka's skin, it's him. I truly that hope that these two get together at some point during the storyline, because they'd just make the perfect couple.


    But... SetsukaxMitsurugi!

    No. Just... no. The likelihood of Setsuka ever falling in love with the man who killed her first love is very unlikely. If this ends up happening in the official storyline then I'll be very disappointed in the game developers. Namco know better than that, I'm sure!


    If she doesn't want Maxi...

    Then I'll gladly take him off her hands... ehehehehe, sorry! :3
