Why Maxi?

I go into this in further depth in the main body of the shrine, but to summarise. Maxi is not only my favourite Soul Calibur character, but my favourite fictional character ever, and after looking around I only found one other shrine in his honour (compared to the huge amount for characters like Kilik and Taki). So I decided to make one of my own, and thus, Dandy was born. Maxi is my obsession and I just love everything about him, so all the hard work this shrine will/does require is worth it.

Why Dandy?

I knew straight away what name this site would get. 'Dandy of the South Sea' is Maxi's official nicnkname and I have always felt that it is extremely fitting. He is a dandy, completely, and so the shrine was given that name. I also just happen to like the word! ^^

When did you open?

28th June 2006. May this shrine be around for many years and to celebrate the next installments in the wonderful Soul Calibur series! I look forward to seeing next-gen Maxi. The more pixels he gets, the better...
